Manufacturing Academy

For more than 15 years, the Van Nuys High School Manufacturing Academy has prepared students for success in college, careers, and the manufacturing industry.

The Academy is a Machine & Forming Technologies career pathway, consisting of two or more Career Technical Education (CTE) courses connected to a student’s career interests. The program bridges the gap between high school, college, industry, and the workplace, giving students the knowledge and experience they need to pursue their goals.

Students develop a combination of technical expertise, hands-on experience, and professional skills that can open doors to a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, and in-demand careers. These skills are valuable not only in manufacturing, but across many fields of study and career paths.
